drawing relaxed help speed things up a lot. or at least that’s the case for me with figure drawing.

That section is basically about gesture drawing. And it is one the very most important part of the drawing so don’t neglect it! :) Like if you ever wondered why some drawings look so stiff whereas some have so much flow, it all starts with gesture.
You can leave these videos on in the background (especially the really long critiques) and it would still help!
First portrait failure recorded: When measuring width of faces (that everything might be based on later), do not include hair. no matter how close it is to the head. even if it’s Spock, even if it’s glued to the head. just noooooo.
Okay to be more useful I’m going to do a thing like an art advice thing but is just really me recording down my failures
